[Known Problems with MCERICOH Version 1.00]
If you have not tested the MCERICOH software using the demo version, we strongly recommend that you download the demo version first for 30-day trial use.
Before you start the MCERICOH installation, you must prepare the following.
- A computer with PC card slots
- Remove all PC cards before you start installation.
- Ensure that no 3rd party PC card management software is installed.
- Windows 95/98/Me: Ensure that the PC card service has correctly been configured.
- MCERICOH version 1.00 installation disks with a valid software license
- Ensure you have three installation disks purchased from a local Ricoh subsidiary or from an OEM partner.
- You can find the software license label on the disk 1.
If you do not find the license label, your installation disks are illegal copies. Installation using illegally copied disks is prohibited.- MCERICOH Patch Program from the V1.00 or V1.10 to V1.11
- Download this patch from the above link to your computer's local hard disk.
- A flash memory card for product firmware upgrade
- The blue 4MB flash memory card (Ricoh part number A2309350 or N8036701).
- A binary file
- Any product firmware file is OK.
First, install MCERICOH version 1.00 on your computer using the installation disks.
Refer to the User Guide for step by step installation instructions.After you finish installation, proceed to the patch program installation immediately.
Execute 111update.exe from your computer's local hard disk.
When you are requested to fill in registration information, you may need to input them again.
After the patch program installation has finished, restart the computer.
The first time you start MCERICOH V1.11, you may need to configure the operating system and the MCERICOH settings.
