GlobalScan NX is Ricoh's scan integration software. This software is designed to replace GlobalScan and ScanRouter EX. Accordingly, GlobalScan NX uses the latest technology to offer unique features via a plug-in architecture, as well as scale according to each customer's needs.
GlobalScan NX is available in a non-server version for customers who want to pursue TCO reduction but don't need advance functions. GlobalScan NX is also available as a server-based application in order to provide advanced functions, like OCR function and increased stability.

RightFax Plug-in
The "RightFax Plug-in" is a service plug-in for GlobalScan NX. It enables Send to RightFax functionality through the control panel of any compatible MFP. This Plug-in provides a cost-effective, speedy, and reliable method of sending documents to a RightFax server. Use of this plug-in will result in time and cost savings (Paper, postage, etc).

Barcode Plug-in
The "Barcode Plug-in" is a filter plug-in for GlobalScan NX. It enables GlobalScan NX to read and recognize barcodes in the documents scanned on a compatible MFP, and then save the data obtained from the barcode as document metadata. As a result of decoding the barcodes, this Plug-in increases the efficiency with which documents can be distributed and managed.

HotFolder Plug-in
The "HotFolder Plug-in" is an input plug-in for GlobalScan NX. It enables GlobalScan NX to monitor specified folders and process any supported files located in those folders. The files are then delivered to their destinations using the registered project settings. Use of this plug-in will allow for any devices that aren't supported by GlobalScan NX to be incorporated into the GlobalScan NX workflow.
